Gary Brothers is the Senior Pastor of Cape First Church in Cape Girardeau, MO—one of the largest and fastest growing churches in the Midwest, with satellite campuses and many outreach ministries including “Discovering Life,” a weekly television program viewed in a five-state region.
Growing up in Western Kentucky mine country, Gary began in full time ministry by pioneering a full gospel church in Providence called Christian Worship Center. In 1991, he moved his family to the Heartland and became Senior Pastor of Cape First Church in Cape Girardeau, MO, where he still serves today.
Gary is the author of three books, an international speaker, and the founder, along with his wife Rose, of Vision of Hope International, a ministry dedicated to leadership development, church planting and humanitarian assistance.

In 1984, God gave Gary and Rose a promise from Isaiah 41:15…”Behold, I will make you into a new sharp threshing instrument.” The promise was that God would use them like a harvesting machine to win many people to Jesus. Today, Gary travels extensively, nationally and internationally, as a motivational speaker and leadership strategist, ministering in conferences, crusades, and colleges around the world. His audience has ranged from a handful of motivated pastors to venues with thousands in attendance.
