Chad Roberts is the founder and lead pastor of Preaching Christ Church in Kingsport, TN. He is the author and Bible teacher for Awakened to Grace, a platform sharing video and audio teachings, relevant articles, inspiring music, an engaging podcast, and more. He is also a sought-after international speaker.

Chad was saved at an early age and grew up in a gospel-preaching church. At the age of twelve, a full-time missionary friend in the Communist Bloc of Europe asked his parents if Chad could accompany him to Romania to do mission work. Chad joined him for two summers, and that time set the course for his life.

Churches began asking this passionate teen to share his experiences with their youth groups and on Sundays. Chad accepted invitations to more than 200 churches before graduating. Even today, missions has remained one of his great passions.

In 2001, Chad planted Preaching Christ Church. PCC began with just ten people, and it has grown into a thriving church family of more than a thousand today. He met his future wife and married her in 2009, and they have four children together.

While in Nicaragua training pastors in 2017, Chad suffered a serious complication in one eye. Blood vessels burst, which led to two failed eye surgeries and, nearly 18 months later, blindness in both eyes. Chad had a decision to make: Would he pull back from ministry, or would he continue forward, trusting God with what he could no longer see? Chad chose faith, and today his story is impacting lives all around the world.
