Stacy Shewey is an international minister, speaker and advocate for orphaned children and senior citizens.
Stacy’s career began with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, where she was awarded the prestigious Circle of Excellence Award, reserved for the hospitality industry’s best sales associates. Stacy went on to form a hospitality company of her own, through which she owned and operated hotel properties, freelanced as a hotel feasibility consultant, and served as a consultant and investor in a 60-million-dollar resort start-up.
She left the hospitality industry to become the executive director of an assisted living and memory care community, where she gained hands-on experience in the senior living industry. It was during this time that she became aware not only of the age crisis facing the United States but the global age crisis and the challenges facing a vulnerable and forgotten senior population in developing nations. It was this realization that moved Stacy to form Hands4Life, a Christian nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives from the womb to the tomb.
Stacy’s visionary concept and mission is to construct campuses in underprivileged communities that become home to orphaned children and orphaned seniors, those abandoned or without living relatives to care for their needs as they end the final chapters of their lives. Creating a family environment, Hands4Life’s campuses encourage the young to learn the wisdom of the aged and give the aged the ability to invest in the young, creating legacy.
Stacy’s experience and knowledge are put to good use by churches and venues across the nation, as she is invited to speak on topics such as:
